Paddling in your canoe along the lake is quite simply one of the best ways to get close to nature – to feel the tranquillity of being outdoors, and to admire the fauna and birdlife on the waterfront. In other Words, it is a great experience that draws you closer to nature, and it is paradise for nature lovers! Experience CanoeSafari on Lake Åsnen. You begin the adventure on Getnö-Lake Åsnen Resort, which is located in the middle of the lake. Paddle through Åsnens National Park – Discover the Big Five of Åsnen; the osprey, the eagle, the blackthroated diver, the crane and the king of the forest – the moose. With a little luck, you might even see the shy otter. After the daily paddle tour, you will set up your tent on one of the canoe camping places. At sunset, you can enjoy your campfire and you may cook the fish you might have caught earlier.  The week will be full of wildlife experiences and memories for life.

Sjön Åsnen är en fiskrik sjö, ett verkligt eldorado för sportfiskare, naturälskare och fågelskådare. Här finns goda chanser att se den berömda fiskgjusen samt havsörn, storlom, skäggdopping och andra sjöfåglar. Glöm inte kamera och kikare. Vi erbjuder boende i småländska fritids-stugor eller på vår ***Naturcamping. Vår viltrestaurang har skogen och sjön som sitt skafferi till de småländska specialiteterna. På Getnö Gård finns även gårdsbutik, lantcafé, reception, fiskeshop, informationsrum, sommarbistro och pub.
