Environmental policy

Getnö shall work for a long-term and sustainable development of the company's activities. We want to hand over a beautiful and sustainable nature to the next generation.

Getnö's most important resources are our nature and the immediate environment, Getnö's private nature reserve, Lake Åsnen with Åsnen National Park and the entire Åsnen area, which we and our guests use for recreation / vacation, activities and events.

Our goal is that the business should be conducted in the long term and protect nature. We will develop with regard to local conditions in an environmentally friendly and climate-smart way.

Getnö shall in a professional manner constantly improve and prevent so that we do not burden our surroundings from an environmental point of view. Getnö shall comply with applicable environmental legislation.

Getnö shall have clear goals for its environmental work and follow up these goals regularly. Work on improving the environment and reducing climate impact must be a natural part of all activities and for Getnö's employees / Team Getnö.

Our purchases are made as far as possible locally and with environmentally friendly goods. Above all, all provisioning is done by local traders in the Åsnen area. We also encourage guests to shop locally so that economic development can take place in the Åsnen area.

Every year, guests and employees should be able to give us feedback, so that we can learn from this and improve.

Ecotourism, a very good word that summarizes how we want to do it; A locally driven experience tourism combined with great responsibility for nature, culture and people. Simply a nice and responsible travel where you show consideration for each other and for nature.
